In your reporting on the Jaguar C-XF concept, you posed the question, “And where does the front license plate go?” This triggered some thoughts.

I see cars from Alberta and Quebec without front plates. Many U.S. states don’t require them as well (Michigan, Florida, etc.).

Sports cars in particular, look better without front plates (Corvette, MX-5, etc.)

Can World of Wheels lobby our various governments to eliminate the front license plate? Would it not also help the environment, as we would have to produce and dispose of one less plate per vehicle?
