Buick Terraza CX, CXL
Van/Minivan
Mar 01, 2006
For its second model year, front-wheel drive versions of Buick's first minivan receive GM's efficient new 3.9-litre, 235-hp V6 with variable valve timing on CLX models; Terrazas with the reactive Versatrak AWD system retain the original 3.5-litre, 201-hp V6. As well, first- and second-row side-impact airbags become standard on CXL and optional on CX. And Terraza moves to the forefront of mobile multi-media with a newly optional PhatNoise portable 40-Gb hard drive unit that can store up to 10,000 songs, or 40 MPEG movies, or provide the software for classic video games, all for playing through the available DVD player. Alone among GM's mid-van family, the Terraza has independent rear suspension, for even better ride and handling.
