Dodge Durango SLT, SLT Plus, Limited
SUV over $45K
Mar 01, 2007
Whether you call it a large midsize SUV or a small full-size one, Durango comes only with full-size V8 engines. To offset their thirst somewhat, the 235-hp 4.7-litre V8 is E85 compatible, while the 335-hp 5.7-litre Hemi has MDS, a technology that can shut down half the cylinders for better fuel economy in light-load driving. For 2007, Durango receives a whole new face (hood, grille, front fenders, bumpers and headlights) that helps it look less tall and narrow. New options include a 115V outlet (standard with the rear HVAC system), and 20-inch chrome wheels. Added standard features include stain-resistant fabric, stability control, side airbags, and dual-zone front climate control.

Largest midsize SUV is the smallest full-size one

Big, heavy and thirsty even with MDS
