Chrysler Crossfire Coupe Base, Limited
Sport Coupe/Convertible
Mar 01, 2007
A monochromatic Bright Silver Metallic paint scheme is new for 2007 on Crossfire. As well, there are "smart" front airbags, and new knee airbags for both the driver and passenger. Otherwise, Chrysler's street-legal concept car continues as is for 2007, still combining eye-popping looks with the under-the-skin engineering of the last-generation Mercedes SLK. There remain two coupe models to choose from, now that the supercharged SRT-6 has been discontinued. These remaining models are powered by a torquey 3.2-litre, 215-hp version of Mercedes-Benz's last-generation V6 engine family. This comes bolted to 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions. These cars are decent performers but also civilized enough to risk being dismissed as "chick cars."
