Subaru Impreza 2.5i, 2.5i SE, WRX
Sport Sedan
Mar 01, 2007
This generation of Impreza sedan has been around for quite a while now. Thankfully, the five-seater has more than enough going for it to keep it hot, like lively performance and standard all-wheel drive. Some freshening last year brought new styling and variable valve timing to all the Impreza's engines, which made the power delivery much more linear and enjoyable, especially in the rally-bred, high performance WRX model. Like the wagon model, the sedan adopts a new 2.5i Special Edition model for 2007. At just $1,500 over the already well-equipped base model, the SE comes with a power sunroof, premium sounds system with an auxiliary input, heated seats, a leather-wrapped wheel and shifter and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Sporty, standard AWD, great value

Off-beat front end styling, getting older
