Bentley Arnage R, RL, T
Prestige
Mar 01, 2007
Available in R, stretch RL and sporty T models, Arnage is a prime example of British coachbuilding and handcraftsmanship. The elder Bentley is still based on an architecture that pre-dates VW-Audi's ownership, and according to Bentley, no other car ... "can be built more closely to the customer's precise specification." Owners can choose from 40 standard colours, plus dual tones, and 27 interior hides, not to mention further customization from Mulliner. For 2007, a 6-speed automatic replaces last year's 4-speed, and the 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8 -- a real old Bentley engine, not one borrowed from Audi -- now puts out 450 hp in the R and RL, and 500 hp (plus a mountain-moving 738 lb-ft of torque!) in the T.

A real Bentley, not a mutant Audi

Real Bentleys are old Bentleys
