Audi A6 3.2, 4.2
Luxury
Mar 01, 2007
New-model-year novelties for A6 focus on power. The 4.2-litre V8 gets a boost to 350 hp from 335, while a new S6 muscle sedan features a 435-hp, 5.2-litre V10 (see separate profile). The base 3.2-litre V6 continues to produce 255 hp. All A6 models sold in Canada have quattro all-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission. An available S-Line package adds go-faster cosmetic items plus sport suspension and 18-inch (or even 19-inch) wheels. Other options include adaptive cruise control, adaptive air suspension, Bi-Xenon adaptive headlamps, and a heated wood-and-leather multi-function steering wheel with shift paddles and a wooden shift knob. Inside, a quirky instrument cluster is a departure from Audi's traditionally tasteful interior finishes.
