Cadillac STS V6, V8, STS-V
Luxury
Mar 01, 2007
The pride of the STS line remains the STS-V performance model. With its hand-built, supercharged, 469-hp, 4.4-litre V8, 6-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control, Brembo brakes, and numerous interior and exterior design changes, this is a Cadillac that can run with the European super-sedans. Elsewhere, the V8 models (4.6 litres, 320 hp) graduate to a 6-speed automatic (the 255-hp, 3.6-litre base engine stays with a 5-speed). Both the V6 and V8 versions can still be had with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. A flip side of this Caddy's driver-focused persona is that there's not much room for rear-seat passengers. New options for 2007 include a Performance Handling Package, and OnStar Turn-by-Turn navigation.
