Chrysler is literally expanding its hit 300/300C sedan lineup. A new long-wheelbase model adds 6 inches (97 mm) to the already-generous rear legroom -- and in so doing, out-legrooms the "L" versions of several European prestige sedans. The so-called Chrysler 300 W.P. Chrysler Executive Series (that's what it says, really!) comes only as a rear-wheel driver, with either the 250-hp 3.5-litre V6 or 340-hp 5.7-litre V8 engines of the regular 300s. Also still in the lineup is the awesome SRT8 with its 420-hp, 6.1-litre V8. And all-wheel drive still remains available on models with the 3.5 and 5.7 engines. New options for 2007 include adaptive cruise control, SmartBeam headlamps and rear seat heaters.

Big on everything -- power, space, attitude

"Stretch" model's name is longer than its wheelbase
