Jaguar S-Type 3.0, 4.2, R
Luxury
Mar 01, 2007
Enhanced value is S-Type's headliner for 2007. New standard features have been added (especially on the base model), plus even more of the leather-and-wood treatment that Jaguar always does so well. And then, instead of raising prices, Jaguar has lowered them. Also lowered is the model count, from five last year to three now. The lineup starts with the 235-hp, 3.0-litre V6, progresses through the 300-hp, 4.2-litre V8, and culminates in the 400-hp, 4.2-litre supercharged R model. All three engines drive the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Notable standard features on the 3.0 include power-adjustable pedals and a 16-way driver's seat. A Bluetooth/navigation package is standard on the 4.2 and optional on the 3.0.
