The big news in the Legacy lineup for '07 is the introduction of the Spec.B, an even more performance-oriented variant of the 2.5 GT. The Spec.B comes with a slightly modified 6-speed manual transmission out of the WRX STI, a Bilstein sport suspension with aluminum-alloy bits to reduce unsprung weight, and a specific paint colour. Aside from the Spec.B, two versions of AWD Legacy are available: the 2.5i and the 2.5GT. The 2.5i brings a 175-hp flat-four, while the GT adds a turbocharger to the same powerplant, good for 243 horses. The Legacy is an often overlooked, though a thoroughly interesting option, when shopping for a Japanese sedan.
