The Ford Focus is available in a wide variety of body styles (3-door hatch, 5-door hatch, sedan, wagon). The 3-door comes in S (base) and mid-level SE guises. The only available engine is the likeable 136-hp, 2.0-litre, which can be mated to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The Focus' strengths include one of the segment's best blends of ride and handling, and a roomy, comfortable back seat. Cargo room is above average with the seats up, even more so with them folded. For '07, there's a rally-inspired GFX wheels-'n-spoilers package and the available 6-CD/MP3 player includes steering-wheel controls.
