Every year, the editorial staff at World of Wheels lock ourselves into a little room to determine our annual Editors’ Choice Award winners. The meeting usually takes place late into the evening; all of us leaving with bruised egos and bloody knuckles, fighting for the contenders that we individually decide to back.

The result is a list of vehicles over 14 classes, ranging from Economy Car to Pickup, that represent the absolute best combination of style, performance, safety and value in their given categories.

While we work on sorting out who next year’s winners will be, take a quick look at who was celebrating in 2007. And, pick up the next issue of World of Wheels, our 2008 Buyers’ Guide, to discover who the next will be to pull out the party hats and noisemakers...
