Lamborghini Murcielago Coupe, Roadster

The first new Lamborghini launched under Audi ownership may not look as revolutionary as expected, but it sure is gizmology rich. The body is mostly carbon-fibre and features "active" air intakes and spoiler. A 6.2-litre V12 fills the hind half of the car, sending 572 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. Coupe and roadster each come with a choice of pure manual, or automatically-shifted manual, six-speed gearboxes. Lamborghini estimates, conservatively perhaps, a 0-100-km/h time of 3.8 seconds, and a maximum speed on the supersonic side of 330 km/h. Carbon-ceramic brakes are a new option for 2006, as is an Interior Carbon Package, which means some trim pieces are made from carbon-fibre. Wow.
It's a Lamborghini, fer crissake!
"Merci ..." how do you say that, again?
