Chrysler Sebring Base, Touring, Limited

The midsize Chrysler has been a long time out of the limelight, what with the 300 hogging all the attention.
That's gonna change with the all-new 2007 model, which is as much a stand-out in its own way as its aforementioned sibling. Some may consider the styling fussy, but those who like it, like it a lot.
Apart from some questionable interior details, form has not been allowed to get in the way of function. In fact, the passenger cabin is one of the segment's roomiest and comfiest (though the trunk is small.)
Typically of its segment, Sebring can be had with a base 2.4-litre "four" (173 hp) or a 3.5-litre V6 (235 hp). But Sebring also offers an alternative, smaller V6, for little more than the price of some rivals' "fours." The flex-fuel 2.7-litre isn't exactly a powerhouse (190 hp), but it sure is smooth.
Transmissions are automatic across the board -- 6-speed on the 3.5 and 4-speed on the others. Standard safety gear includes ABS and six airbags, with stability control available.
Among the other options is a stunning Harmon Kardon navigation radio featuring: a 20-Gb hard drive with Music Juke Box for organizing music and pictures; USB port; song-identification database; play-list creation capability; voice memo recording; Sirius satellite radio; and Bluetooth.
Distinctive, roomy, good value
