Honda Civic Sedan DX, DX-G, LX, EX

Published on Mar 01, 2007

Canada's best-selling car was all new in 2006, so little changes for 2007. The Civic remains a small-car tour de force. Consider its safety package, with six airbags and ABS and active head restraints all standard. Consider also the bold styling, innovative two-tier instrumentation, powerful (1.8-litre, 140-hp) engine, first-in-segment 5-speed automatic, terrific handling, and near-best-in-class fuel economy. Storage spaces and cupholders abound, and even the base model has reach-and-rake steering adjustment, power windows, a tachometer, AM/FM/CD/MP3, and height-adjustable driver's seat. Three additional trim grades provide progressively more bells and whistles. Combine all that with the Hybrid sedan and five coupe models, and Civic is unlikely to lose its sales crown.
