Dwarf cars not just for dwarfs

Just got through your January 2008 issue. It is excellent as usual. The article on the Ariel Atom (Magically Delicious) stands out for me because I have gotten into racing “Dwarf” cars. I’ve come to understand how unbelievably exciting a little racer can be.
Compared to the $40K Atom, a Dwarf car has less weight and more power. It also has a super rigid frame, great looks, racing tires, and tune-able suspension… all for about 20 per cent of the cost of an Atom. Plus ordinary people like me can
scream around a track in more than a dozen events a season. I’ve been competing
over the last couple of years in the Okanagan Valley of B.C., and my favourite
track is the oval in Vernon, where we do the half-mile in 20 to 22 seconds.
I invite you to check out our club website for all the facts, rules, and some links (http://dwarfracing.ca).
